Aflac Incorporated Discloses Cybersecurity Incident View notification

In recognition of Childhood Cancer and Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month in September, the Aflac Digital Services and Global Security teams swapped their laptops for lawn games and came together for an unforgettable adult field day — a spirited afternoon of friendly competition, laughter and giving back.
From the moment the first egg was balanced on a spoon, it was clear: This wasn’t your average workday. Teams of five, who had each donated $5 to play, faced off in classic games like tug of war, relay races, egg-and-spoon challenges and even a giant tic-tac-toe showdown. The stakes? Pure bragging rights and a delightfully quirky trophy that now sits proudly with the winning team.
Dunking for donations

One of the biggest hits of the day was the executive power shower tank. Employees lined up for a chance to hit the bullseye that would dump buckets of water on those in the hot seat. Every bucket tipped over executives’ heads brought cheers and more donations, proving that nothing builds team spirit quite like soaking your boss for a good cause.
Tailgates, tug-of-war and tic-tac-toe

Participants enjoyed yard-sized games, like an oversized version of tic-tac-toe, and classic field day activities like tug-of-war — with the added challenge of water balloons tucked under their chins and arms. Spectators and competitors alike enjoyed tailgating, complete with concession-stand snacks like popcorn, cotton candy and drinks — as well as special trinkets — all available for additional donations.
Remote teams got in on the action
Remote employees joined the festivities through virtual games, bringing the same energy and enthusiasm from afar. Whether on-site or online, everyone had a chance to participate and contribute.
Playing for a purpose

While the games were all in good fun, the heart of the event was its mission. Thanks to the generosity and team spirit of everyone involved, a total of $4,504 was raised for the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. This contribution supports Aflac’s ongoing commitment — now nearly $200 million and 30 years strong — to helping children and families facing pediatric cancer and blood disorders.
